A Board Certified Behavior Analyst will be responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis services to clients in home, school, or clinical settings.
Behavior Analyst positions are available across the Brevard County area including but not limited to.. (Mims/Titusville, Cocoa/Merritt Island, Rockledge, Cape Canaveral/Satellite Beach, Viera/Melbourne, West Melbourne/Palm Bay, and Indian Harbour Beach/Melbourne Beach).
Education:
- Master’s Degree with concentration in early childhood education/development, special education, psychology or a related field (Required)
- Previous experience in supervision (Preferred)
License:
- BCBA certification certified by the BACB, in good standing (Required)
Language:
- English (Required)
REQUIREMENTS
- Current and maintain BCBA certificate (on file)
- Valid automobile insurance and registration (on file)
- Reliable means of transportation and a valid Florida Driver’s License (on file)
- Obtain and maintain current professional liability insurance (Biennial)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Maintain CPR certification (every 2 years)
- Maintain HIPAA compliance training (annual)
- Brevard Public Schools Contractor Badge (Preferred)
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- A minimum of one (1) year working with children with Autism (ASD), intellectual disability, and/or related neuro-developmental disorders

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct initial & ongoing assessments and write progress reports
- Develop & monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior support plans
- Supervise and train ABA Therapists
- Develop and monitor individual behavior management protocols and behavior intervention plans for individuals
- Provide support, instruction, and feedback to families and caregivers with regard to managing challenging behaviors and teaching replacement behaviors
- Conduct Functional Assessments and Functional Analysis for all problem behaviors
- Review program effectiveness, make recommendations, monitor data collection, and chart progress
- Ability to maintain established records and files
- Knowledge of the theory and practice of psychology and human development, including the practical problems involved in giving varied types of tests and in scoring, analyzing and interpreting tests and test results
- Continuously track data in daily/weekly progress notes in the form of charts, graphs, etc. to ensure treatment is effective. Revise treatment and teaching procedures as needed
- Monitor and adjust behavior plan throughout treatment period in accordance with the child’s progression
- Implement new and remove old programs once mastery criterion is achieved
- Submit weekly progress notes for each client with what was covered during supervision, progress on goals, and behavior graphing
- Maintain and keep track of individual schedule
Job Type: Contract
Job Schedule: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: $50 to $60/hour based on experience
