- autism spectrum disorder
- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder
- Tourette syndrome
- obsessive-compulsive disorder
- bipolar disorder
- anxiety disorders
- oppositional defiant disorder
- Down syndrome
- fragile X syndrome
- general behavioral difficulties
- developmental delays
To help children reach their greatest potential, we create customized behavioral and educational programs based on thorough evaluations and the best practices of Applied Behavior Analysis, including discrete trial teaching, verbal behavior training and Functional Behavior Assessment.
In cooperation with school districts, we design programs to improve the behavior, social skills and learning experiences of students with special needs, and we help implement those plans in classrooms.
We also work one-on-one with children in their homes to generalize and strengthen the skills they need to thrive. As part of that mission, we teach parents and siblings to reinforce the learning process, supporting them with sensitivity and empathy and helping them fulfill their fundamental roles in achieving successful outcomes.
At Behavior Counts, we respect the individuality and unique goals of every client we serve.
